The storyline does not change much:
The Puzzle Killer and his protégé Amanda are held dead. Even so, they still manage to spread terror by kidnapping Rigg, a SWAT officer, and forcing him into one of their horrific games. Assisted by two FBI profilers, agents Strahm and Perez, Inspector Hoffman has only 90 minutes to overcome the terrible ordeals of the famous Killer and thus save his old friend from certain death.
