Riots in France

After the announcement of the new president, numerous riots broke out in the big cities of France and in the suburbs.
More than 360 cars were set on fire, 270 people were arrested Monday after clashes caused by the victory of Nicolas Sarkozy .
Numerous clashes between demonstrators and the police took place, results: 28 police officers injured.
10,000 people demonstrated across France against the result of the presidential election which saw Nicolas Sarkozy access the Elysee Palace.
According to the police, the riots were caused by young people from the suburbs and far left activists ,anarchists .
